COVER 77 previews our third edition of COVER Connect Las Vegas with an in-depth look at the 17 brands that will be showing. With January’s event calendar looking different for 2025, we report on the changing landscape of international rug and design events. In Features, the second in our Best-sellers series, this time Best-sellers Europe, includes the most popular designs of 28 European brands. COVER editor, Lucy Upward looks ahead to 2025 interior and rug trends, giving an overview of themes plus talking to interior designer Tineke Triggs and rug retailers. We look at the work of textile artist Olga de Amaral and rug brand Merida. 

New collections come from Samad x ABC Italia, Rug Star, Creative Touch, Unknown Carpets and Classic Rug Collection. Iwan Maktabi’s new Dubai showroom comes under the spotlight as does the latest project by Kahhal Looms. In the rest of the issue, we report on the second Carpet Diem exhibition in Paris, designing for neurodiversity, mid-range rugs and the best looks at Kips Bay Dallas.
