TOP flight champions for the second time in three seasons, Belle Vue’s team manager Mark Lemon has certainly brought the good times back to Manchester. In this week’s edition, the Aces boss reflects on another memorable year in the North-West. “We’ve had some good times recently but when you have some success, the expectation is there for more. We’ve done it tonight and now I guess the challenge is to do it yet again. We’ll worry about that another day. Being at the National Speedway Stadium is a tough challenge. The eyes are on it and rightly so. The track everyone loves riding. It’s hard to be fast and defensive. All the boys love riding it and it’s safe. But to win a league and do it on our track, it’s always been tough. I’ve now built a team around five foot four, 60 kilo wringing wet riders to make it work for us!”
