COMEBACK man Michael Jepsen Jensen can’t wait to get up and running in Britain again for the first time in over 10 years after joining Birmingham. The Dane is heading to Perry Barr to join Matej Zagar and Tobiasz Musielak in the Brummies’ heat leader department and in this week’s magazine, he reveals: “I am not too bad on a bike and racing on technical tracks is not my issue. One thing I felt this winter is that I wanted to race a little bit more. Most of the time, the travelling is the killer and because of that, I wanted to be less busy – to stay in shape. But the connections to the UK from Denmark, Sweden and Poland are so good that if I have a plan before flying over, I just need to get over here. The club has been professional and things are looking good. I have found good guys to help me out, so I think it’s going to be very good fun. I am signing because I want to do well and help Birmingham as much as I can.”
