The theme of this edition is ‘Bloom’, and it feels perfectly timed. As we go to press, nature is bursting back into life after a long, wet winter. As we start to get back outside and enjoy the land, we have articles on forest bathing for children, forest gardening for families, ideas for trips to see bluebells, and discover places to visit in the Lake District.

We have a wealth of articles in our Ages and Stages section, including babywearing how-to tips, stories from mothers about creating friendships after birth and rediscovering maternal love, understanding the dynamics of multiples, helping children develop a healthy relationship with food, and applying business tools to parenting in the home. There are also book reviews, interviews, competitions, travel tips, health advice, and tasty spring recipes – plus much more.

This season also marks a small change for the magazine. In our commitment to making The Green Parent the best it can be, we’ve decided to move from publishing bi-monthly to quarterly, aligning each issue with the rhythm of the seasons. It feels like a natural fit and gives us more time to curate inspiring content that supports you on your parenting journey – while giving you a little more breathing space to enjoy each issue (we know how precious your time is!).
