RISING Star Jordan Palin hasn’t had the easiest of rides so far this season, either in the Premiership with Peterborough or for his second tier side Scunthorpe. But the level-headed youngster has enough belief in himself to know he can ride out the storm and confound the criticism of those keyboard warriors: “I try not to read social media, but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t look at the comments now and again. It is really hard. If I was getting criticism from my granddad who is in the pits with me, you get on with that because you know them. But if it’s someone sitting in front of a keyboard who has never sat on a bike before, telling you how to do it, it’s pretty difficult to deal with. If you are winning, you are the best in the world, if you start losing, no one wants a piece of you. I just use it as motivation. I just try and do better. There’s no point getting down about it.”
