TALENTED Brit Jordan Palin has admitted that his racing career is at an end, halted in its tracks by a serious crash in a Team GB training day at Belle Vue’s National Speedway Stadium in July, 2022. A bleed on the brain left the teenager facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines but now he has revealed that he will not be returning. In this week’s magazine, Palin tells Phil Lanning: “It’s just a dangerous sport. It could have happened if I was practising on my own or racing. It’s just one of those things and you have to accept it. Every time you get on a bike, you know you can have a life-changing incident or you can come out feeling like you’re on top of the world. I look back now and I don’t regret anything. I loved it while I was doing it. Speedway was great to me but I have moved on now.”
