Just as we were going to press with this issue, the sad news was announced that Her Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth II had died. The Queen had a lifelong love of horses. Within our centre pages, we share images of Her Majesty at ‘home’ events on the Windsor Estate that have featured in the magazine through the decades. Also, within this issue Bob Elliott’s report includes: the 300th Coaching Club Official Meet at Badminton and the Magazine Meet at Woburn Abbey. Amy Mundell heads to Hungary and captures in words and images all the action at the FEI European Youth Driving Championships; we have a full report from the British Driving Society as they joined forces with the Chatsworth Country Fair – which provided a glorious setting for their National Championships. We find out about the welcome return of both the Riding for the Disabled National Championships and The Royal Welsh Show. In her final training and guidance feature of this series, Sue Mart from Bennington Carriages discusses all the successful ingredients you need in order to perform at your best. With fields and pastures struggling to recover from the extreme heat and lack of rain, Equinutrative look at healthy feeding alternatives to get the right nutritional balance when grazing isn’t an option. We have all the latest information from across the driving disciplines from scurry and Hackneys and British Carriagedriving to the BDS. Subscribe now and keep up to date with all the latest news and views.
