COVER: Modern Carpets & Textiles for Interiors is a quarterly magazine focused on the best fine rugs and textiles being designed and made today. COVER also looks at market trends and innovations and examines the role of rugs and textiles in interior design.
The bumper Winter issue returns for 2018! We look forward to the amazing rugs and textiles that the international design fairs of the new year are bringing us. For Domotex Hannover in January we sample the most exciting rugs about to be to launched and speak to the world-respected designer Sebastian Herkner, who will be giving a talk at the show. Also under the spotlight are Maison&Objet Paris, imm Cologne, Domotex asia/CHINAFLOOR, plus COVER’s Luxury Brands exhibition, Americasmart Atlanta and Domotex USA. As well as seeking out what’s new we reflect on the events of autumn: The Rug Show New York, M&O, High Point, London Design Festival and Istanbul Carpet Week.
As part of our future trends focus in COVER 53, we talk to Caroline Till of futures research agency Franklin Till about the issues influencing our design decisions and buying habits. COVER Editor Lucy Upward presents her recent trend report delivered at Istanbul Carpet Week. We also discuss the current interior design looks with Jaye Anna Mize, VP of Creative | Home Interiors + Design at global trend forecasting agency Fashion Snoops. Our trend pages focus on rugs for discerning kids and the colour green, a current interior must! And stylist Sania Pell shares her views on how to maximise rugs and textiles in interiors.
