A randomised clinical trial examines the effectiveness of testing hard-to-heal wounds for bacterial protease activity, and a prospective, multicentre study evaluates the management of patients with wounds at risk of or with local infection with TLC-Ag dressings. A narrative review describes the implications of endotoxins in wound healing, and there is a comprehensive discussion on the subject of wound dressing adherence.
A systematic review looks at strategies to prevent suppurative chondritis following auricular burns, and a description of the development of a surgical wound assessment tool to measure healing and risk factors for delayed wound healing in Vietnam using a Delphi process is presented.
