Spear's

54 issues

If you've been feeling that the newspapers, magazines and websites that you read don't quite get you - well, that's why we set up Spear's. Spear's has been described by Ben Goldsmith as 'a cross between Forbes and Vanity Fair' - and that's a pretty good place to start.

Spear’s is a multi-award-winning wealth management and luxury lifestyle media brand. Our magazine, which comes out every two months, is read by the most successful people in Britain, from heirs and entrepreneurs on the Sunday Times Rich List to London's top lawyers and bankers.
Contributors have included HRH The Prince of Wales, entrepreneur Luke Johnson, Anne McElvoy of The Economist and dandy-about-town Nick Foulkes. We regularly cover topics like private banking, innovative philanthropy, the art market and luxury travel, all written for grown-ups.

Latest issue

The latest issue of Spear’s magazine features the winners from The Spear’s Awards 2022. We assemble a judging panel of genuine subject-matter experts and, unlike, many other awards ceremonies, ensure there is no cost to enter. But the more important thing to note is why we feature the individuals and the firms that we do: because our research team considers them to be the very best in their field and their expertise is relevant to our readers. This year’s winners include: OWO Residences, Catherine Bedford, Strive Masiyiwa, HSBC and more. Speaking of established institutions, our cover story by Martin Vander Weyer examines the predicament Credit Suisse finds itself in from it’s history of scandals to present day appointment of new CEO Ulrich Körner. Can it withstand the uphill struggle? Meanwhile, Joseph Bullmore takes a turn of the family office conference circuit to ask why a bombastic showman was able to fool people for so long. And editor Edwin Smith reports back from New York’s financial district where the banks are moving out but the metropolitan sophisticates are moving in. As ever, there’s much more including a trip to Clinique La Prairie, a Midas interview with Anne Robinson, and Mayfair’s new modern classic restaurant.
