MANCHESTER delivers again – and how! For the second year in a row, the National Speedway Stadium served up a double header treat with some exceptional racing over both nights of the British Grand Prix weekend. An Australian one-two-three on Friday – headed by Max Fricke from Brady Kurtz and Jack Holder – was followed by Kurtz's first GP victory of the season in a final for the ages on Saturday, which moved him to the top of the leaderboard for the first time. In this week's magazine, Kurtz reveals: “We have been pushing hard to stay here. After last year, I really didn’t know what to do. Do I just turn up as I was? Do I try to make improvements? Which direction do I go in? It has been quite the tough year. It hasn’t actually gone as smoothly as I would have liked. The Polish league has been really tough for me. We have been making changes back and forward, trying to figure out where I am. But in the past two or three weeks, we really narrowed in on where we need to be. I have felt like myself again and I feel like I am back.”
