Over the last ten years Jazzwise has become the biggest-selling jazz magazine in Britain. In fact it now outsells all the other UK jazz magazines put together. With agenda-setting news and comment, a comprehensive gig guide, in-depth features, exclusive interviews and over 100 CDs, books and DVDs reviewed in each issue it’s become widely acknowledged as the monthly music bible for serious music fans.
Regular features include the latest news in the jazz world; CD, book and DVD reviews; a guide to the best gigs and concerts around the country and your letters to the editor.

The November issue of Jazzwise Magazine is an EFG London Jazz Festival special and has an exclusive cover feature with UK jazz stars Shabaka Hutchings and Camilla George, inside they talk about their big Barbican concert, The Evolution of UK Jazz – 20 years On, featuring Jason Yarde and a host of young British jazz talents in a key concert at the festival.
Also in the issue are Exclusive Interviews with jazz icons Charles Lloyd and John McLaughlin, both talking about the latest albums; there’s also a look inside the ambitious London Jazz Festival line-up with festival programmer Pelin Opcin, ahead of performances from a huge range of global stars at the capital-wide 10-day event.
There are also interviews with festival headliners Richard Pite and Pete Long about their ‘Swingin’ with Strings’ concert at Cadogan Hall; vocalist ESKA reveals the album that changed her life in Turning Point and percussionist Sarathy Korwar selects the music he can’t live without in Takes Five. And there’s fascinating article from Val Wilmer about a journeyman song-and-dance man's group, prophetically named The Rolling Stones, helped inspire Cardiff’s black music scene in the 1930s.
All this plus the UK’s biggest album jazz reviews section, jazz news and gig guide… more jazz than you’ll ever here…
